Martijn Deurloo, grafisch ontwerper BNO, Rotterdam.
In 2004 afgestudeerd aan de Willem de Kooning Academie te Rotterdam, richting
grafisch ontwerpen. Naast grafisch ontwerp tevens illustratie en illustratief
ontwerp, letterontwerp, webdesign. Het werk kenmerkt zich door een sterk conceptuele
en redactionele benadering. Martijn Deurloo heeft na afstuderentwee jaar bij
Colombo, Amsterdam gewerkt (2004-2006) en heeft vervolgens een werkstage gedaan
bij 2x4, Inc. in New York. Momenteel werkzaam voor diverse opdrachtgevers
in Nederland en New York.
Martijn Deurloo (1978) studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague
and at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He earned
a Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree in 2004.
His work includes editorial graphic design with a strong typographic touch,
as well as type design and illustration.
Martijn has worked at Colombo, Amsterdam and 2x4, New York City. Currently
working self-employed and freelance for several clients in the USA and the
Netherlands.
In 2005, he was a nominee for the Grafische Cultuurstichting Student’s
Prize for Graphic Design, in 2006 an annual report he designed at Colombo
was awarded as a "Bestverzorgd Jaarverslag".
The past three years Martijn has worked for clients such as Altus Global Alliance,
Artsen zonder Grenzen (Doctors without Borders), Corel Fashion, City Council
of Amsterdam, Dutch Moon Cookies, OnlyHuman, OOM, Solid Lighting, Vivid Gallery
Rotterdam and Yankelevich Educational Services.
